The app processes the following data locally:

SMS Messages: Bank transaction messages are read to automatically detect and categorize your expenses
Transaction Data: Amount, merchant name, date, and category of transactions
Account Information: Bank account names and balances you manually enter
Camera Images: QR codes scanned for UPI payments (not stored)

3. How We Use Your Information

All data processing happens locally on your device for:

Automatically detecting transactions from bank SMS messages
Categorizing expenses and income
Generating spending analytics and reports
Managing multiple bank accounts
Scanning UPI QR codes for payment information

4. Data Storage

Local Storage Only:

All transaction data is stored in a local SQLite database on your device
No data is transmitted to external servers
No cloud backup or sync functionality
Data is deleted when you uninstall the app

5. Permissions Required

The app requires the following permissions:

READ_SMS: To read bank transaction messages for automatic expense tracking. Only banking-related SMS are processed.
CAMERA: To scan UPI QR codes for payment information. Images are not stored.

6. Data Sharing

We do not share any data. Since all data is stored locally on your device, there is no data sharing with third parties, advertisers, or analytics services.

7. Third-Party Services

Money Manager does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
